OUR STORY
Emmanuelle Laurine, PhD is an experienced patent search professional expert in biotechnology, pharmaceutical and life sciences.
With experience as a scientist in R&D, an inventor and as a Patent Information Professional, Emmanuelle has built a deep understanding of patent searching and the importance of quality and of good communication.
Emmanuelle holds a PhD in Neuroscience from University Montpellier II, France followed by a Post-doc at the Parkinson’s Institute, Sunnyvale, California. She worked as a scientist in R&D for over 13 years in the Biopharmaceutical Industry. Her research covered multiple fields such as molecular biology, protein engineering, cell-based assays, neuroscience, virology and oncology (incl. Antibody-drug-Conjugates).
Over the course of her career, Emmanuelle has published a patent application and multiple papers in peer reviews.
Capitalising on her experience as a scientist and inventor, Emmanuelle moved into IP to become a patent search analyst. Working in patent search firm, she held various positions from Patent Analyst to Director - IP Search EMEA. Emmanuelle has extensive experience in patent searching including Freedom to Operate (FTO), Patentability, Invalidity, State of the Art, Sequence searching (GenomeQuest, DGENE, USGENE, PCTGEN,REGISTRY, CAPLUS) as well as in project management including project scoping, pricing, execution and quality management.
Emmanuelle is passionate about service quality and firmly believes that beyond technical expertise, understanding and communication are key to building and maintaining successful collaboration.
